Stanley Unwin – The truth about publishing (1976)

Standard This was an interesting book to flick through for an historical perspective on the relationship between libraries and publishers. It’s not all focused on that relationship specifically, but there are a few snippets. Particular areas that caught my interest were: The value of public libraries in providing light entertainment to the masses. Legal deposit and Copyright Act. Efforts made by authors to bring in the Public Lending Right payment.
